unless someone is going to say that Pouliot was the reason for the success of the "third" line last season, then I see no reason, now that Stepan has been back for a few games, not to go back to what has been proven to be effective and reconnect Brassard and Zucc.
Pouliot provided a big body, so add Kreider to the line, put Nash back with Stepan and add Duclair on the left side for the jolt of speed that Kreider used to give that line. Then keep MSl and Hags together, two smaller but speedy guys with the bigger and defensively sound center in Hayes.
so ...
Duc - Stepan - Nash
Kreider - Brass - Zucc
Hags - Hayes - MSL
4 = Moore + Fast/Stepniak/Glass (& anyone from HFD) |

Pouliot was a bigger part of the chemistry than people realize, his size and speed allowed him to close gaps better than most on the team but his contract wasn't even a debate, his production so far says enough |

right, but if it wasnt Pouiot himself, but rather simply his size & speed, then Kreider shoud be able to fill that role without issue. |

This should be a rather easy one for the Rangers. If Giroux is playing through a foot issue I would focus my efforts on Voracek and force the 2nd and 3rd lines to beat you. They won't. |
